皮色は、全体的に光沢のある銀白色だが、

鱗が剥がれて地肌の薄紫色が見えていることが多い。

体表中央に側線が走り、その下部には規則性をもった発光器の陳列が見られる。

本種は駿河湾産ですが、名前はサガミハダカといいます。

The color of the skin on the body is silver-white with the luster generally,

But the scales are fallen and often is seen the skin of purple color.

This fish is called “Sagamihadaka” in Japan but this is produced in Suruga Bay.
