体形は、細長い円筒形をして、大きな眼が印象的。

発光器が臀鰭以後に綺麗に並んでいる。

Though the color of the hard scale on the body is silver-white with the luster,

There are many individuals whose scale came off rudely, and the black skin is shown.

The shape of the body is cylinder of long and slim, and  the big eyes are impressive.

Many photogenic organs exist after the hip fin.
