体色は、銀白色をしていて、背部に灰色の縦線が走る。

尾鰭は大きく存在感がある。

吻は尖りぎみで、下顎から髭のようなものが伸びる。

また下顎が短いためか沼津では「アゴナシ」と呼ばれている。

The color of the body is silver-white and gray bars are seen on the back.

The tail fin is big and has presence.

The rostrum is sharp slightly and there are something like mustache lengthens from lower jaw.

And probably because of the lower jaw is short, this fish is called “Agonasi; Poor chin” in Numazu.
