体形は、左右に強く側扁していた卵形。

また、後部の背鰭が糸状に伸長しているのも特徴です。

The color of the back is blue and the abdomen is silver-white with the luster.

The shape of the body is ovoid which is strongly flat right and left.

The scale on the surface is easy to come off and there are a lot of dot-shaped spots on the back.
