This fish is not from Suruga Bay, but it is placed for deepen understanding.

There are some clear spotty pattern on the surface of the body,

and one chin whisker.

It is considered as an important large-sized edible fish in Japan.

You have a chance to see all these different kinds of fish

in our facilities along Suruga Bay of Shizuoka prefecture

where it is well-renowned for beautiful Mt. Fuji.
