It is said that this is the south living fish,

and assumed to be caught a lot in Hachijo Island of Izu Islands.

Though it looks like Ruby snapper,

The feature of this fish is that the mouth is large,

and the tail fin is not expanded long behind.

The body color is beautiful, bright red.
